‘Dancing Memories’

“Although at first glance, the image just seems like a crappy, underexposed image with no meaning, however the real meaning is behind the technique used. Underexposure was created deliberately, just to achieve a sort of modern pop art effect which would allow the foils of the cloth the blend it to the background, still with a subtle crisp edge. The grim idea behind this image was a representation of how a memory or thought may haunt and pray on your mind at night, however in the day it barely effects you. In the end, it’s just a thought, and both ideas were the same. So why be effected differently?
i think having a more grim and shocking impact, draws attention to the emotions inside. The final image will be posted after the jump, and will be one of either image flipped around, to give a more literal meaning. However, I personally feel that the final images shown here are of good quality, meaning and are aesthetically pleasing.”That moral society is not what it used to be.
Who are we?
Or… who do we think we are? I don’t like the society we live in.
However, I crave it. The attention, the criticism…

P.S. above is a ‘snippet’ of my upcoming project; ‘Fireworks’. A set containing three images. All will be uploaded when the set has been submitted at the end of my university term.
As part of investigation for my workbook I decided to experiment with Aperture. This image shows a deep Aperture of F/32.0. This gives it a dark and more crisp and sharp edge. It allows the main subject of the photo to become extorted with a glow, making it more evidently the main focus.

So, lately I have been running out of ideas for photo edits. Seeing as this is all I have been doing since I left college I was thinking that It might be time to start and do something more, up scale? Something bigger and something to keep my audience interested and not just looking for the same thing?

I got my results today. Despite being nervous and worried i got an A* in Art & Design. Even though I just needed a C to get onto my University course, they reject me.
